The Pirates used consistency, transition scoring, and excellent defensive pressure to earn a hard-fought victory over the Shamrocks. Grady Eklund led the charge on the offensive end alongside Trent Piggott, as the duo consistently pushed the pace and kept pressure on the Shamrocks' defense. The Pirates thrived in transition, converting multiple go ahead baskets and capitalizing on Shamrock turnovers throughout the night. Defensively, Pewamo set the tone by pressuring the ball consistently up the floor, forcing turnovers and quickly turning those mistakes into points. Their ability to disrupt passing lanes and speed up the Shamrocks proved to be a difference maker, especially in key stretches when the game was up for grabs.

Despite the loss, Saint Patrick turned in a solid, well rounded performance, battling the Pirate's on both ends of the floor for most of the game. The Shamrocks matched the Pirates intensity defensively and executed well offensively but ultimately struggled to get shots to consistently fall. Still, their effort and resilience kept the game competitive deep into the matchup, showcasing a team that competes with consistent grit and toughness throughout each contest.
