Schoolcraft took care of business Friday night, defeating Parchment 55–36 in a conference matchup and completing a 2–0 season sweep over their league rival. The game didn’t start smoothly for the Eagles. Parchment jumped out to an early 9–4 lead in the opening minutes of the first quarter, dictating the tempo and forcing Schoolcraft to settle in. After weathering the early pressure, Schoolcraft began to find its footing late in the first quarter, stringing together key defensive stops and timely baskets to take a lead they would not surrender for the remainder of the game.

By halftime, Schoolcraft had built a 27–20 advantage, leaning on strong defensive rotations, disciplined rebounding, and improved ball movement to control the flow of play. While Parchment remained within striking distance at the break, momentum was clearly shifting toward the Eagles. That momentum fully carried into the second half. Schoolcraft came out of the locker room locked in on both ends of the floor, applying consistent defensive pressure and turning stops into transition opportunities. The Eagles steadily extended their lead throughout the third quarter, creating separation and putting Parchment on its heels.
The turning point came late in the third quarter with the Play of the Game (Presented by Pit Training League). Ty Goddard pushed the ball in transition and fired a deep, perfectly timed outlet pass down the court to Kodee Bienz, who finished at the rim as the buzzer sounded. The play energized the bench and crowd, and it capped off a dominant stretch that effectively put the game out of reach. Schoolcraft continued to control the fourth quarter, maintaining composure and executing offensively while limiting Parchment’s scoring chances. The Eagles closed the game with strong defensive effort and efficient possessions, securing a convincing 55–36 victory on their home floor.

Player of the Game: Kodee Bienz, who delivered a standout performance after being held scoreless in the first matchup against Parchment earlier this season. Determined to make an impact this time around, the junior playmaker was active all over the court, finishing with 21 points, two blocks, and multiple assists. Bienz consistently attacked the defense, created opportunities for teammates, and set the tone with his energy and pace.
