This game featured four or more jump balls, showing that both teams came ready to compete in the best way possible. Each squad was aggressive in the passing lanes, forcing turnovers and disrupting rhythm. In the end, Mendon’s fast-paced, attack-the-rim offense proved too much, leading to a 59–36 victory.
Play of the Game (Pit Training League): Ryder Gorham caught the ball on an inbounds pass and attacked the basket at full speed. It looked like he was heading for a contested layup, but instead delivered a quick no-look pass to his brother, Owen Gorham, who finished with an easy layup.

Player of the Game: Ryder Gorham was and is the heartbeat of this Mendon team. He was a constant nuisance on defense and a true artist when attacking and finishing at the rim.

Carpenter Action Shots – Thoughts from Behind the Camera: I have two more Mendon games on my schedule (01/28 & 02/19), and I’m already looking forward to them. This fast-paced basketball is a blast to watch!
Check back later this week for all the photos from this game!
