Macomb Lutheran North to join the Blue Water Area Conference, starting 2026-27.

After 15 years of Catholic League competition, Macomb Lutheran North will be leaving the CHSL to join the BWAC. The Blue Water Area Conference consist of 7 public schools in Lapeer, Macomb, Sanilac & St. Clair Counties, The Mustangs will be 8th member and the first private school to ever join the conference. Lutheran North starts conference play in the 2026-27 School year. Prior to competing in the CHSL, the Mustangs were a member of the Metro Conference since the establishment of the Lutheran School in 1972 to 2009 when the league began to dissolve, the Metro Conference folded in 2010 with its final members being Hamtramck, Harper Woods & Livonia Clarenceville.
