Grand Haven found themselves in a battle Monday night, and when the final buzzer sounded, they walked away with a hard fought 77-74 overtime win against a highly skilled Freeland squad that proved they belonged on the floor with anybody.

This wasn't the kind of game where one team dominated stretches and pulled away. This was back-and-forth, physical basketball where every possession mattered and neither side was willing to give an inch. Freeland came to play, matching Grand Haven's intensity possession after possession and forcing the Buccaneers to earn every single point.

With seconds ticking away in overtime and the game on the line, senior guard Will Plummer did what great players do. He didn't overthink it. He didn't force something that wasn't there. He just put his head down, attacked the basket with purpose, and finished through contact at the rim. and won the game for his team.

Give credit where it's due, Freeland didn't back down. They pushed Grand Haven to the brink and made them earn every bit of this win. But when it mattered most, the Bucs had a man who wasn't afraid of the moment, and that made all the difference.   Play of the Game Present by Pit Training League:
