Coming off winter break, Gobles looked to extend their win streak against Lawton. Lawton came out hot, jumping to a quick 5–0 lead. Carter Crippin opened the scoring for the Tigers, but Lawton continued to apply pressure, stretching the lead to 13–2 before Gobles was forced to take its second timeout of the first quarter. Gobles responded with one of several runs on the night, closing the quarter strong and cutting the deficit to five heading into the second. The second quarter opened with both teams trading baskets. Lawton looked to extend its lead after forcing a steal, but Crippin stepped in and took a charge to halt the momentum. On the next Lawton possession, Nolan Clark knocked down a three-pointer to push the lead back to 10 midway through the quarter. Following a Lawton timeout, Gobles seized control, closing the half on an 11–0 run and holding Lawton scoreless over the final three minutes to head into halftime with momentum.

The third quarter featured multiple lead changes, with both teams answering shot for shot. Lawton managed to regain the lead in the final minute, edging ahead 37–36 heading into the fourth. Lawton quickly extended the lead to five early in the final quarter, forcing Gobles to play catch-up. The Tigers clawed their way back throughout the period. After a Lawton timeout, Gobles inserted Briar Heintzman to intentionally foul, then called a timeout of their own with 1:07 remaining, trailing just 43–42. Gobles tied the game at the free-throw line with under a minute to play. Lawton turned the ball over on its next possession, allowing Gobles to run time off the clock before using its final timeout with 5.4 seconds left. Out of the timeout, the Tigers executed a backdoor cut off the inbound for the go-ahead basket with 1.5 seconds remaining. Lawton called a timeout to draw up a final play, but the attempt fell short as the pass slipped through senior center Gabe Newhouse’s hands as time expired. Gobles held on for a thrilling 45–43 victory, keeping their undefeated season alive.
