The West Ottawa Panthers and East Kentwood Falcons squared off in a regional battle that quickly tilted in one direction. East Kentwood wasted no time setting the tone. After the first quarter, the Falcons held a commanding 19-7 lead, controlling the pace and forcing tough looks from the Panthers The pressure continued in the second. Three minutes into the quarter, East Kentwood had stretched the margin to 28-14 with five minutes still to play in the half. What followed felt one sided, as the Falcons dominated the closing stretch and carried a 38-21 lead into halftime. Then came offensive mayhem.

The third quarter turned into a scoring frenzy. West Ottawa found more rhythm and doubled its total, but East Kentwood answered every run. The Falcons poured in 21 points of their own, pushing the advantage to 59-42 heading into the fourth. The final quarter slowed down, but the outcome never felt in doubt. East Kentwood maintained a steady 69-52 cushion entering the final two minutes and continued to execute down the stretch.
When the final buzzer sounded, the Falcons secured a convincing 79-55 victory, punching their ticket forward with a complete performance from start to finish.
