Duo Drops 41 to Propel Paw Paw to Dominant Victory

Three Rivers aimed to regain momentum against a highly regarded Paw Paw team. Senior Caden Bowen connected on a three-pointer late in the first quarter to extend the Red Wolves lead to four, prompting a Three Rivers timeout. The Red Wolves would continue by closing the quarter strong and held a 16–8 advantage at the end of the opening period.
Paw Paw maintained its offensive rhythm to begin the second quarter, extending the lead to double figures within the first minute. Three Rivers struggled to protect the ball, committing several turnovers under pressure from Paw Paw’s aggressive defense. Senior Travion Everett provided a spark with a defensive block, and the Wildcats followed with a three-pointer to trim the deficit to seven. Despite a stretch of solid defensive play by Three Rivers midway through the quarter, Paw Paw finished the half on a run and entered halftime with a 31–19 lead.

The Red Wolves came out of the locker room with increased intensity, utilizing quick ball movement and effective passing to disrupt the Wildcats’ defensive coverage. Paw Paw steadily pulled away throughout the third quarter, controlling both ends of the floor. With under 30 seconds remaining in the period, sophomore Antonio Rivas completed an and-one to further extend the lead. Paw Paw closed the quarter ahead by 34 points.
Paw Paw continued its dominant performance in the fourth quarter and secured a convincing 71–30 victory over Three Rivers.
